I have had the privilege of working at Ogden Preparatory Academy since 2004. After being a founding member of the Quest Academy Board and serving as Board President, I am thrilled to get to begin a new journey as a teacher at Quest Academy. I am the mother of 7 kids, six of which have attended or will be attending Quest Academy. Education is so important to the future of our children, and I am so glad that I get to be a part of that process. I also have the privilege of working with the Natural History Museum of Utah to bring the educational program, “Research Quest” to classrooms across the state.

8-9 Math

I am so excited to be teaching 8th and 9th grade Mathematics again this year at Quest Academy. I have always loved Math and enjoy helping students as they learn new concepts and gain confidence in a subject that may be a challenge for them.
I earned my Bachelors Degree from Weber State University, where I also worked for 15 years. (Go Wildcats!!!) During my time as a student, I spent a semester in Mexico with a study abroad program. It was there that I met my husband, who was a WSU student as well. We have a set of twins (one boy/one girl) who keep us really busy.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. Some of our favorite places to visit include Bear Lake, St. George, and any place near an ocean.
I look forward to this school year and hope you enjoy it too.

Hello, my name is Greg Cypers.  I am the Business and Marketing teacher at Quest Academy.   I have an extensive background in the business and marketing areas where I have worked for the past 25 years.

I have most recently worked with Weber State University and the Athletics Department.  I was working as a Sports Marketer with WSU Athletics and various Corporate Partners throughout the Ogden area.  I brought money or trade to the University and in return for that, I would provide marketing opportunities at all sporting events for that particular company.

A few other titles that I have held while working in the Business sector include:  General Manager, Operations Manager, Western Regional Sales Manager, Software Engineer, and Product Assurance Manager.

I am married and have 4 sons.  I enjoy all sports and have been coaching for the past 22 years.  I enjoy hunting and fishing and anytime I can get outdoors with my family.

I am thrilled to be working at Quest Academy and can be reached any day after 3PM in person.  I can also be contacted via email at gcypers@questac.org.

My name is Allison Pfister and I am originally from Page, Arizona, better known as Lake Powell. I moved to Utah when I began my college education at Dixie College in St. George. I graduated from Dixie with my Associate's Degree in Fine Arts then went on to study elementary education at Southern Utah University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree. I have been a teacher for sixteen years and have taught second, fifth, and sixth grade. I am so excited to teach ELA in a junior high setting, I will begin working on my secondary degree in ELA very soon.

I really enjoy reading novels in my free time. My favorite authors, right now, are John Green and Nicola Yoon and my favorite series is the Selection Series. I also like to eat almost every kind of food, especially hamburgers, but I really dislike raw onions. Café Rio and In N’ Out are my favorite restaurants, favorite color is bright blue, favorite movies are Pitch Perfect and Nacho Libre, favorite treat is frozen yogurt, and favorite season is summer, I hate being cold.

I also love to travel. Recently, I have been to Hawaii and Mexico. We travel to Montana and Arizona a lot to see family but have also been to Mount Rushmore, Myrtle Beach, Washington D.C., and New York City. I adored New York City and enjoyed every minute of Hawaii and would love to go back to each someday, but I really want to go to Europe, especially Italy, more that anywhere else.

My husband's name is Jason and he works at Hill Air Force Base, we have been married for 20 years. We have two children, Cassidy and Zack. My daughter, Cassidy, is 17 years old and is a senior at Roy High. My son, Zack, is 14 years old and is an ninth grader at Sand Ridge. Together we enjoy watching movies, eating out, hiking, bike riding, traveling, and hanging out in our hot tub.
