I met my forever love my senior year of high school at a Jazz Basketball game. We’ll celebrate our 32nd anniversary this fall.  Our home has been blessed with three beautiful, talented children. Taylor is a real estate agent, his wife Mady is a certified CPA, and competitive cheer coach for Roy Jr High. Their kids are Barrett who will be 4 and Jacelyn who just turned 1, and we just adore them.  McKenzee is a very talented baker! She and her military hubby, Jake just had their little girl, Kingzlee and big brother, Bashtian who is 2 just loves her. Connor loves everything mechanics, after working aircraft repair at HAFB, is currently wrenching on cars.  He has a 2 year old little boy, Maverick, who is just darling.  We now have 5 adorable grandkids! The 3 musketeer boys, followed by the 2 little princesses. Being a grandma is absolutely the best! 

I have a passion for education! My love of teaching began at a very young age. I love seeing the children’s faces light up when they grasp a new concept! Education runs deep for me. My father, two aunts, my sister, my brother, and I are all educators. I’m so excited to be returning to Quest this year! Quest is truly the best! I attended both Weber State and Western Governor’s Universities. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8 and my Master’s degree in Learning and Technology. 

If you can’t find me out and about, odds are you can find me at the Sand Dunes riding our side by sides, traveling, spending time with the grandkids, or sporting events, seeing new things, reading, playing the piano, crafting, camping, watching movies, and cooking, entertaining, baking, and playing games with my family, as well as friends. 

I absolutely LOVE going to the movies. My favorite movies are those based on historical events and places. I have a deep love for history and have a lot of historical places on my bucket list to visit. I was able to do some sight-seeing in Europe  and can’t wait to go back!

 I LOVE chocolate- especially Dove dark Chocolates, jelly belly jelly beans, Chai with almond milk, and Alani’s! I LOVE shopping for school resources for my students to use in our classroom, Dollar Tree has some great things.  I love shopping for cool learning resources on Amazon! Some of my other favorites are Walmart & Target to name just a few.
