Biography

Hi, I’m Mrs. Jen Jones and I love teaching at Quest Academy. I am a Solar System Ambassador for NASA, a Space Foundations Teacher Liaison Officer, a Computer Science Teachers Association Teaching Excellence award winner, and a National Geographic GeoMaker Institute certified teacher.

I love bringing space, technology, and science into the classroom with my Astro class where we explore space and come up with some amazing projects to present at the yearly Quest Under the SSTARS event in May.

In my younger years, I worked on the production teams for major movie/TV studio companies including Disney, SyFy channel and CBS, as an accountant and tax agent for the IRS (I know, boo hiss), and as a graphic designer creating marketing campaigns.

I live in Roy with my wonderful son and husband. I enjoy botany/gardening, camping, techno music (what?!), dubstep, orchid collecting, crafts, origami, kung fu (I love Kung FUUUUUUU!) and graphic designing. I love to continue to learn and am always exploring new educational adventure horizons. Most of all, I love teaching your wondrous children.
