Hi, my name is Kristin Marietti. I LOVE being a teacher. It was my dream as a child and I’m so glad I followed my dreams. I will be starting my 13th year of teaching this year. Though the years I have taught many grades but 2nd grade is my favorite which is why I'm so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year.

I have two loves in life. My first love is my family. I have been married to my husband, Alan, for 25 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters together. Lauryn, 21, Madalyn, 19 and Kamryn, 17. I love animals, especially dogs. We have a black Lab named Lettie, a Beagle named Poppy and a Pitbull mix named Maisey. They bring so much happiness into my life.

 When I have free time I love to listen to music, bake and play the piano. I also enjoy playing board games with my family and roasting marshmallows around the campfire.

My second love is being a teacher. Teaching is my passion. I love watching each of my students grow academically as we build on new skills. But my heart truly loves watching students foster perseverance, initiative, and resilience. We will do hard things this year.  We will learn together, and we will grow together. It is my hope each student leaves our classroom knowing they are loved, needed and important. I am so excited to teach your child this year. Thank you for trusting me with them.
