Hello! My name is Mariah Rojas, and I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade at Quest Academy this upcoming school year. While this is my first year at Quest Academy, I bring 12 years of experience teaching upper elementary students. I am excited for this new opportunity to share my passion for education and become part of the wonderful Quest Academy community.
I am passionate about helping every student discover their strengths and achieve success in the classroom. As a mother of three amazing children, I have learned firsthand that every child learns differently. This experience has strengthened my commitment to meeting students where they are and creating an environment where all learners feel supported, challenged, and valued. While I maintain high academic expectations, I also believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable. My classroom is often filled with relatable stories, goofy songs, laughter, and meaningful experiences that help students connect with what they are learning.
Outside of the classroom, my greatest joy is spending time with my family. My husband, David, and I met in high school, and we have been happily building our life together ever since. We have three wonderful children—two daughters and one son—as well as two amazing sons-in-law and two phenomenal grandchildren who keep life exciting and full of laughter. Our family loves the beach, sunshine, outdoor adventures, and warm weather. We were even fortunate enough to live in Hawaii for a year! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, cooking, playing games, and making memories with the people I love most.
I am honored to be joining the Quest Academy family and look forward to partnering with students and parents throughout the year. Together, we will build a classroom community where curiosity is encouraged, hard work is celebrated, and every student is empowered to grow academically, socially, and personally. I can't wait to meet you and begin an amazing year of learning and adventure together!
