Hello! My name is Mia Wangsgard, and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year! This is my third year at Quest Academy, but my first year in my own classroom, and I could not be more excited to begin this adventure. I graduated from Weber State University and am currently pursuing my master's degree through Western Governors University in Elementary Education. I am passionate about creating a classroom where students feel welcomed, supported, and excited to learn each day.

Working with kids has always been something I have loved. I believe every student has unique strengths and talents, and I want my classroom to be a place where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and growing both academically and personally. Building meaningful relationships with students is one of my favorite parts of teaching, and I am excited to help my students have a successful, memorable, and fun year.

When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my husband, Shane, as well as my family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, swimming, and finding any excuse to spend a sunny day at the pool. Some of my favorite things are Costa Vida, Starbucks, summer weather, and making memories with the people I love most.

I am so excited to meet my students and their families and begin an amazing year together. We are going to learn a lot, work hard, have fun, and make great memories along the way. I can't wait to see all the incredible things we will accomplish this year!
