Biography

Hi, my name is Mrs. Vigil and I am excited to teach first grade at Quest. But more importantly I am thrilled to be your child's teacher. It's going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and adventures and I can't wait to see what this year brings! I am looking forward to meeting my students, but first here is a little about me.

I grew up in Hooper, attended Fremont High School and received my bachelors degree at Weber State University in Elementary Education. This will be my 18th year teaching. Through the years I taught preschool, kindergarten and first grade.

My husband Bryon and I have 4 amazing kids, 3 sons and 1 daughter. Over the last year we welcomed a sweet daughter-in-law into our family. We have two dogs, a cat and 9 chickens. As a family we enjoy outdoor adventures, camping, fishing, kayaking, campfires and games. I love being outdoors, doing yard work, gardening, planting flowers, playing games, cooking dinner for my family, and bubble baths with a good book.

My favorite part of teaching is getting to know each of my students for who they are and creating a friendship of love and trust. I feel strongly about building a classroom community where each child feels like they belong. It is a blessing in my life to be able to spend part of my day with your amazing kids.
