Hello! My name is Sara Garrett, and I am excited to begin my eighth year at Quest Academy, where I will be teaching 6th Grade Science and History at the junior high. I am passionate about creating a classroom where curiosity is encouraged, meaningful learning takes place, and every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

I earned my Bachelor of Science from Weber State University and my Master of Education from Western Governors University. My goal as an educator is to motivate, inspire, and elevate student learning by creating engaging, hands-on experiences that help students build confidence, think critically, and develop a lifelong love of learning. I believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and a positive classroom environment are the foundation for student success, and I strive to help every student grow both academically and personally.

Outside of school, I have been happily married to my husband, Ryan, for 30 years. Together we have a wonderful family that includes five children, one son-in-law, two daughter-in-laws and soon-to-be seven grandchildren. We also have a lovable dog named Chewy who keeps life entertaining! Family is my greatest joy, and I love spending time with them whenever I can.

In addition to teaching, I own Adorn Me, my professional body piercing business. I have been a body piercer for over 35 years and enjoy helping clients celebrate meaningful moments with safe, high-quality piercings. When I'm not in the classroom or at my studio, you'll usually find me outdoors gardening, riding bikes, hiking, working on home projects, or simply enjoying time with family and friends.

I am grateful to be part of the Quest Academy family and look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for science and history while helping my students discover their strengths, develop confidence, and become lifelong learners.
